us. Congratulations on your success! It's incredible! You are the best in mathematics!
Znojek Paul: Thank you very much.
Julia Stepien: We would like to ask you some questions in connection with obtaining places in the Regional Mathematical Competition for middle school classes. Paul, how you felt when you learned that you are the best mathematician in the region?
PZ: It was a big surprise for me. I was very happy.
OM was a huge competition? How would you rate the preparation of mathematical

Julia Stepien: We would like to ask you some questions in connection with obtaining places in the Regional Mathematical Competition for middle school classes. Paul, how you felt when you learned that you are the best mathematician in the region?
PZ: It was a big surprise for me. I was very happy.
OM was a huge competition? How would you rate the preparation of mathematical
youth from other schools?
PZ: Yes, it was hard. My opponents were very well prepared. The level was really high.
JS: How przygotowywałaś for the competition?
PZ: Every day, I met up with our lady of mathematics and rozwiązywałyśmy together a lot of tasks. I think that without Mrs. Yvonne Swiatkowski osiągnęłabym not my success.
OM: What do you think what qualities of character (temperament) can help achieve success?
PZ: I think that should be hardworking, conscientious and thorough. Mathematics requires great care.
JS: Which of your achievements to date of school do you consider most important?
PZ: I think my greatest achievement was the victory in that contest math.
OM: Where did your interest is mathematics?
PZ: Mathematics is the queen of the sciences. Its rules and principles are clear and logical. I just like mathematics.
JS: And what is your opinion on the competitions in question? Do we participate in them?
PZ: Oh, yes, of course. Contests question the basic skills, are deepening the news, learn discipline and concentration. I think that is really worth to attend.
OM: What can you advise prospective math competitions?
PZ: You have to believe in yourself and never give up. Huge importance is the support that I received from my lady from mathematics.
JS: In what extracurricular activities you participate in addition to math?
PZ: I like to dance and acrobatics and perfecting learning English.
OM: What are your immediate plans? Science or adventure? By the way, if you like to travel?
PZ: I'm concentrating on learning, but I like to travel. I hate boredom.
JS: In that case where you want to spend your next vacation?
PZ: A very big impression on me had, Bulgaria. Overall, I like the Mediterranean countries. But the holiday has not yet decided.
OM: Do you read? What are your favorite books?
PZ: I read a lot, and like most adventure books.
